Irreverent New Zealand Comedy Premieres Thursday, August 4 as a Binge Launch on Sundance Now, Adopted by a Two-Episode Broadcast Premiere Wednesday, August 17 on IFC
NEW YORK – July 11, 2022 – AMC Networks’ IFC and the focused streaming service Sundance Now introduced that Season 2 of the irreverent kiwi comedy Good Grief will make its U.S., Canadian and U.Ok. premiere on Thursday, August 4 as binge launch on Sundance Now, adopted by its North American two-episode broadcast premiere on IFC starting Wednesday, August 17.
Co-created, co-written and starring sisters Eve and Grace Palmer together with co-creator/co-writer Nick Schaedel, the six-episode comedy collection is ready in small New Zealand city and follows two millennial sisters with very totally different personalities who inherit a funeral residence from their grandfather.
Since inheriting the Loving Tributes funeral residence in Season 1, Ellie (Eve Palmer) and Gwen Goode (Grace Palmer, Adrift) have set off on very totally different paths. Gwen is pressured to remain at Ellie’s home after being kicked out of residence by their mum. Dean presents a reduction to some shoppers, Beau freestyles, and Sharyn seems like Margot Robbie.
Episode Three – “Tragedy Plus Time”- PREMIERES AUGUST 24 AT 11pm
Gwen pranks Maia’s new boyfriend, whereas a harassed Ellie tries to persuade Dean she’s going to fall in line. Beau does some life modeling, and Sharyn recommends a plumber.
Episode 4 – “Sizzling Water”- PREMIERES AUGUST 31 AT 11pm
Gwen and Beau have an early morning call-out, and Ellie feels responsible about her outburst. The employees movie a TV business, to Dean’s delight, and Sharyn hosts a ‘Spa-BQ’.
Episode 5 – “Empty Nest”- PREMIERES SEPTEMBER 7 AT 11pm
Ellie and Kobe get to work within the lavatory, Gwen helps a consumer plan a funeral, and Beau presents life recommendation. Dean eats a pikelet. Sharyn has a brand new robotic.
Episode Six – “Fireplace and Dwelling”- PREMIERES SEPTEMBER 7 AT 11pm
